Automatic Garage Doors
An automatic garage door is the opening a household operates more than any other — often four to eight cycles a day, every day, for fifteen years. That duty cycle, not the door leaf, is what decides whether the installation is still working smoothly in year five.
We size the operator to the measured door weight and the expected cycle count rather than to the door width alone, which is the shortcut that causes early motor failure. Sectional doors get a rail-mounted operator; roller doors get a tubular motor sized to the curtain; tilt doors get a boom operator with the correct arm geometry.
Safety is part of the base specification, not an upgrade. Every installation includes photocells across the opening, force limiting set so the door reverses on contact, and — on sectional and roller doors — an anti-drop device that holds the door if a spring or cable fails. Manual release is fitted and demonstrated at handover so the door can be opened during a power cut.
